The Nike Dunk High arrived in 1985 and was worn on both college and NBA courts while Michael Jordan was rewriting history in his similarly looking Air Jordan 1. The Nike Dunk High's reputation as a sneaker that can be easily adjusted to match specific colors delivered the Dunk to a new generation in 1998, when customization, graphics, and experimentation with fabrics became more prevalent.
